Hot STs and an economical one too

Ford has added a pair of all-wheel drive 177kW 340Nm 2.0 EcoBoost and 132kW 400Nm 2.0 TDCi-powered ST line flagships to its Kuga range at the same time as the new option of an economical 88kW 1.5-litre TDCi turbodiesel power available in Ambiente and Trend derivatives.

Set apart by bold styling and sporty driving dynamics, ST-Line models get exclusive design elements, interior trim and a revised suspension set-up through thicker anti-roll bars, a 10mm lowered ride height and stiffer suspension bushes, along with enhanced spring and damper rates for reduced body roll and sharper response.

Set apart by an Ebony Black grille and 18-inch high-gloss black alloy wheels with a bright machined surface or optional 19-inch Ebony Black alloys and body kit colour-coordination complete with skid plate, side skirts, mirrors, door handles, rear roof spoiler and wheel arches, ST has a lithe and eye-catching appearance. That's set against contrasting high-gloss Ebony Black rear diffuser and roof rails, tinted front and rear lights, as well as privacy glass for the rear windows.

Cabin ambience benefits contrast stitch partial leather sport seats, a dark headliner and two-layer metallic-effect centre console, alloy pedals and scuff plates. Kuga comes with Ford Protect a four-year/120 000km warranty and a six-year/90 000km service plan at 15 000km intervals.
