Ford has revealed an all-new Kuga as it chases a stronger grip on the entry SUV scrum with 1 in 3 sales across Europe now going the way of sport utility vehicles. 

Now including choice of hybrids with a 165kW plug-in 2.5-litre petrol electric good for 1.5l/100km and just 29g/km CO2 emissions, a 110kW 130g/km 2.5-litre petrol electric good for 130g/km. and q 110kW 48V mild-hybrid 2.0-litre diesel electric emitting 132g/km, there are also regular1.5-litre petrol and 2-litre diesels with either six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic gearboxes in front and all-wheel drive options.

Boasting a more sophisticated look, new Kuga moves Ford design another step on with an uncluttered cabin boasting a ,  raft of high tech functions mostly controlled through the central touchscreen.  Kuga shares Ford’s new C2 platform with new in a 10% stiffer, 90kg lighter, 89mm longer and wider car on a longer wheelbase for improved stability and dynamicsl. 

Roomier and said to deliver class-leading space for rear-seat passengers thanks partly to a space saving dashboard; seats split 70:30, slide fore and aft as standard, while new tech includes FordPass Connect with wi-fi connectivity for up to 10 devices, wireless phone charging, heads-up display, a cross traffic sensing, parallel or straight self-parking and hands-free boot-opening among its arsenal.
