Porsche says goodbye to the outgoing 911 GT2  with a 200-off stripped-out, track-ready Clubsport edition that set the road-legal Nurbürgring lap record in November. Clubsport is powered by a heavily reworked version of the biturbo3.8-litre boxer six-from the outgoing 911 Turbo cranked up to 515kW, while the car is also stripped out to weigh in at 1390kg - 80kg less standard model, so it can be expected cut the standard GT2's 2.8-second 0-100km’h sprint and 330km/h top speed, thanks to the removal of any unnecessary interior components, including the passenger seat, carpeting and sound insulation. A large roll cage, bucket seat and six-point harness arrives in their place. Clubsport will not be road-legal, rather intended for used at trackday events.
