JMC builds on its popular medium truck

JMC Trucks moves up a gear with the launch of its all-new Carrying Plus to the South African market.

Boasting a more aerodynamic, enlarged and safer cab and available in dropside, tipper and box van configurations in two 2800 and 3360mm two wheelbase options and  1880 and 2050mm cabin widths, Plus is longer and larger than the Carrying with a dual-tyre rear axle, enabling it to comfortably manage a four-tonne payload.

Cabin features include height adjustable power steering and a radio; a reverse warning alarm, front fog lamps, dual sun visors and generous cabin oddment space as well as well-padded ergonomic Lear seats and hard-wearing materials and quality plastics are designed with long life in mind, while the Lux version adds air conditioning and power windows, all

Powered by a proven Isuzu-derived 84kW 210Nm 2,8-litre turbodiesel driving the rear wheels via a five-speed manual gearbox, the workaholic Plus gets a heavy-duty ABS braking system with an exhaust brake, 16-inch wheels and heavy duty tyres. It is obvious.

Carrying Plus has a tare weight of 2480kg and a 6500kg gross vehicle mass for a 4020kg payload and is readily available from JMC’s network of 25 South African service outlets.
